Model-Wise Performance Analysis

Yamaha RayZR 125

The RayZR 125 was the top performer, contributing over 50% of Yamaha’s total sales in November 2025. It recorded a significant 45.89% YoY growth, although it did see a 7.43% MoM decline from October’s 22,738 units.

Yamaha FZ Series

The FZ lineup, historically a strong pillar for Yamaha, faced a steep decline. Sales more than halved on both YoY and MoM scales, dropping 55.03% YoY and 60.14% MoM. It remains the second best-selling Yamaha model but with a reduced market share of 15.41%.

Yamaha Fascino 125

The Fascino held third place with 5,306 units. While it suffered a 33.01% YoY drop, its MoM performance remained remarkably steady with only a marginal 1.03% decline compared to October 2025.

Yamaha R15 and MT-15

Yamaha’s 155cc flagships witnessed substantial volume loss.

  • R15: Sales fell by 40.08% YoY to 4,257 units.
  • MT-15: Experienced the sharpest decline in the volume-oriented portfolio, dropping 61.45% YoY and 71.05% MoM.

Yamaha Aerox 155

The premium maxi-scooter recorded 1,116 units. It faced a 44.73% YoY decline and a significant 61.37% MoM drop.

Yamaha R3 and MT-03

Combined sales for these models stood at just 5 units. These models were recently discontinued in the Indian market, signaling that updated versions may be on the horizon.

Spotlight: The All-New Yamaha XSR 155

While the XSR 155 was not yet reflected in the November 2025 sales charts (having launched mid-month on November 11), it has generated immense positive buzz across the country. Deliveries officially began on November 13, 2025.

Based on the potent R15 platform, this neo-retro motorcycle is expected to bolster Yamaha’s premium sales in the coming months. With an introductory price of Rs 1,49,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi), it offers a blend of timeless design and modern hardware like VVA technology and USD forks.
