Suzuki Motorcycle India Sales Up 9% in August 2025

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) recorded a 9% year-on-year growth in August 2025, with total sales of 1,13,936 units. Domestic sales increased by 5%, while exports saw a significant 29% rise.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has announced its sales performance for August 2025, reporting a total of 1,13,936 units sold. This represents a 9% increase compared to the 1,04,800 units sold in August 2024. The company’s sales were bolstered by a solid performance in both domestic and international markets.

Strong Domestic and Export Growth

Domestic sales for August 2025 reached 91,629 units, a 5% increase from the 87,480 units sold in the same period last year. The company also saw a significant surge in exports, which grew by 29%, with 22,307 units shipped compared to 17,320 units in August 2024.

Deepak Mutreja, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., expressed his gratitude to customers, stating,

“The growth in August sales gives us momentum going into the festive season and we look forward to delighting more customers with our products and services”.

After-Sales and Product Enhancements

In addition to its two-wheeler sales, Suzuki Motorcycle India achieved its highest-ever spare parts sales in August 2025, generating revenue of INR 856 million, a 21% year-on-year growth. The company also enhanced its product lineup with the introduction of a new Metallic Matte Platinum Silver No. 2 / Glass Sparkle Black color option for the Suzuki Avenis scooter.
